Attraction/Event Ideas

      Like many, when I travel I tend to focus most of my attention on the village centers of the places I go unless there is some significant attraction at the perimeter. For that reason one might hope that we could create some walk-to events that would bring visitors to the less traveled areas of Woodstock during part of their stay.

 

Perimeter Attraction Ideas

Food tasting's Scavenger Hunts
Afternoon events at the Bear Performance Art
Traveling Bands Mini Theatre
Guitarist Trail (Plaques in Sidewalk)  

   Further, to help perimeter business get more visitors and reduce auto traffic, one might contract for circling busses on weekends. Some mini-events would circulate between various perimeter locations throughout the day. BID would help perimeter develop promotions to attract visitors.
